Trusted Like Family Home Care continues to serve clients during the COVID-19 pandemic
Trusted Like Family Home Care was founded in 2018 to fill a gap in client service and client care that existed within Worcester County’s in-home care services market. We were founded on a simple premise - no one should have to sacrifice quality client service in order to get great care.
Like many areas of the country, our local market for in-home care services is split between small independent providers and the local offices of national franchises. Small providers often provide a high quality of care, but don’t always meet expectations in terms of client service. Franchises typically provide client service based on an established national model, but with overburdened caregivers, sometimes come up short in meeting client care expectations. Trusted Like Family Home Care was founded to combine the best aspects of both the locally owned and nationally franchised home care models – providing both outstanding care and service to our clients and their families.
After extensively researching the national and local markets for in-home care, Mike identified this gap in the market, and saw the need for a better model of providing in-home care. Mike completed a nearly 20-year career in consulting during 2017, having provided market analysis expertise to some of the world’s largest technology firms. This work, combined with additional years spent at National Grid and the Gillette subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, gave him unique insight in understanding consumer needs and how to fulfill them. Another key skill Mike developed during his years of work experience, was how to hire and manage great individuals, and build them into great teams. Mike looks forward to helping you with all of your in-home care needs, and showing you how our talented and care-focused team can make all the difference!
Mike earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from Boston University, and in his spare time enjoys golfing, sailing, gardening, reading, and spending time with his family. Mike currently serves in several volunteer roles at St. James Parish in Grafton, and recently completed a two-year term on the Leadership Team of the St. Mary School Parents Association in Shrewsbury. Mike and his family have been Grafton residents since 2001.
